Dog Flea

Ctenocephalides caniss

Despite the name, this flea will not only feed from dogs, but also cats, humans, and other animals. The dog flea similar to cat flea is also capable of producing the same diseases as cat fleas (they can cause allergic dermatitis and the tapeworm parasite, which impacts both dogs and cats) and is also commonly found on wild animals, wolves, raccoons and on livestock.

Regular preventative flea & tick management is an important component for pet owners.

Be sure to have flea & tick control to avoid any disease health issues or infestations
