Infestations can occur anytime however after a heavy rain you may see them in ridiculously large numbers. Also found in individual residential septic tanks and city sewer systems. They need water and so they enter homes to find it as well as food. They can easily pass under doors, through small cracks, patios and garages are also a common point of entry. They will take up residence in bath-rooms, kitchens, laundry rooms and a children’s nursery. They will forage for crumbs, spilled food, and will eat pet food too.
