German roaches are found throughout the United States. The German is the bad boy that gives all roaches a bad name and is the worse one of all. Found in homes and businesses throughout Florida; most infestations are found in the Kitchen and bathrooms due to the water source and often confused with the Asian cockroach. The German is greatly destructive and one of the largest health risks; not only do they transport bacteria and other pathogens from unsanitary places to your home; contaminating your food prep areas and sleeping quarters but they also release a powerful allergen that can aggravate allergies and cause asthma attacks; in some cases they have been responsible for conditions so severe they have caused death. They have wings but rarely fly, if you suspect you might have a German roach infestation call right away.
