Millipedes
DIPLOPODA
Millipedes are slow-moving. Harmless to humans, but somewhat of an annoyance in household but in the garden these pests cause damage to plants and seedlings. They defend themselves by curling up or secreting venom of sorts from their body.
House Centipedes
Scutigera coleoptrata
Well a picture says it all; creepy looking with up to 15 pairs of long narrow legs. Super-fast speeds more than a foot (1.3 ft.) per second running across floors, up walls and along ceilings. House centipedes feed on spiders, bed bugs, termites, cockroaches, silverfish, ants, and other household pests, but if they become too numerous they can be a problem.
